Dow completes acquisition of General Latex and Chemical

The Dow Chemical Co. has completed its acquisition of General Latex and Chemical Corp., a North American rigid polyurethane systems supplier and developer of rigid polyurethane foam formulations. The Cambridge, MA-based company, which generates annual sales of more than $100 million from its six U.S. manufacturing sites, also supplies custom compounds produced from natural and synthetic latex. General Latex will be consolidated into the overall Dow Systems Houses operations.
