Apollo named sole N.Y. area distributor for BR-111

Exotic Hardwood Flooring has named Apollo Distributing Co. its exclusive
distributor of the New York Tri-State area. Based in Fairfield, N.J., Apollo has
been a BR-111 distributor for the area for close to a year. Until recently the
company shared territory with Hoboken Floors of Wayne, N.J., which recently announced
plans to close.
Jason Strong, exec vp of BR-111, said Apollo is well suited to be the sole distributor in the highly competitive N.Y. area. “They’ve done an excellent job with the BR-111 brand and have definitely earned the opportunity to be our only distribution channel in this key market,” he said.
Products carried by Apollo include BR-111’s Fashion Under Foot exotic hardwood flooring, which includes 25 wood species and 60 products in solid, engineered and hand-scraped flooring.
