The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) recently presented TILE columnist Dave Gobis with its Joe Tarver Cornerstone Award for 2009.

Gobis, a third-generation tile setter and the past executive director of the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF), received the prestigious award during a special ceremony held at Coverings in Chicago.
