To do the job right, installers need to enhance their skills with updated training, and this year at TISE, CFI provides exactly that—real hands-on training in proper flooring installation techniques, including how to correct problems from someone else's bad installation.

The courses that will be offered are as follows:

  • Carpet Residential I Commercial I
  • Carpet Residential II (must already be R I Certified)
  • Carpet Commercial II (must already be C I Certified)

The industry’s top installation trainers will share the latest installation techniques and tools. Come prepared to leave with a thorough understanding of installation as it relates to becoming one of the most knowledgeable flooring professionals in the field, said the organization.

Certification is awarded if the requirements are achieved and the installer provides proof of required active installation experience. These courses are not beginner training courses, but installers with experience are welcome to attend and opt out of the certification if the year requirement cannot be met. Installers who successfully complete the program receive their ID photo badge, CFI decals and a listing on the CFI website for future referrals.

Tools will be furnished for the testing/training. Space is limited so make sure to register early.
