Mark Weglowski retires from Uzin Utz North America after nearly 13 years as Pallmann Brand Manager and 25 years in the hardwood flooring industry. Josh Neuberger, a 12-year company veteran who previously served as VP of corporate strategy and development, takes over as vice president of the Pallmann brand.
Marco Ludwig, former CEO of Schluter Systems North America, has been appointed president of Uzin Utz North America, bringing extensive flooring industry experience and a track record of driving growth and innovation in the building materials sector.
The recent CFI FCICA Convention in Orlando challenged the industry to raise the bar on installer recruitment, expand high-quality training, and expand awareness of the latest installation techniques and technologies.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the commercial flooring design competition. Annually the awards celebrate the high-quality projects completed by Starnet flooring contractors in partnership architects, designers, and Starnet aligned manufacturing partners.
FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, is excited to share it held a successful 2022 Mid-Year Meeting, October 10 - 12 at the Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where members addressed current industry challenges, opportunities and how to plan for the future.
