DuPont Sorona has announced further expansion into the European market with three key carpet and rug manufacturers, including The Balta Group. The Balta Group is officially launching the AMAIZE carpet collection which is made with DuPont Sorona renewably sourced polymer and patented DuPont fiber technology.  HBC Bulckeart and Fletco Carpets also have launched carpet and rug styles made with DuPont Sorona. The carpets and rugs were on display during the Domotex Hanover - World of Flooring Show, Jan. 12-15, 2013.

AMAIZE carpet made with DuPont Sorona from The Balta Group is available in numerous styles, aptly named after prolific innovators from the past and present.  Newton, reflects the trend of modern simplicity. This carpet collection is available in a variety of colors and styles from The Balta Group.

HBC Bulckaert is adding to its SENS luxury rug collection made with DuPont Sorona with the launch of the ‘Kreative Kids’ collection aimed at children ages 7 to 13 and the ‘Joyful Kids’ collection for children under 8 years old. In addition to their Persian designs, contemporary designs are available in the new collection. 

STARCK by Fletco carpet tiles now includes styles that are made from DuPont Sorona in the “Thick Line” collection. The vivid square tiles featuring unique figures, icons, patterns and colors can be mixed and matched for maximum design flexibility..

Sorona is a renewably sourced polymer used primarily in fiber applications including fiber for textiles used in apparel and home, office and automotive interiors, and fiber for carpet including residential, commercial and automotive carpet and mats. In addition to replacing petrochemical based ingredients with those made with renewable resources, Sorona also provides a 30 percent reduction in energy use and 63 percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions compared to incumbent materials such as nylon 6.
