The American Concrete Institute's Melinda Reynolds has been promoted to director, membership and customer service.

In support of ACI’s strategic goal of working to increase participation of, and adding value for its members, chapter members and customers, Reynolds will focus efforts on creating, implementing and analyzing strategies, plans and programs focused on growing the community of ACI members.

“Melinda has been serving the needs of ACI’s 20,000 members since joining the Institute over 14 years ago,” said Ronald Burg, ACI's executive vice president. “As the Institute examines how we can best provide members in the U.S. and around the world with unparalleled value and expanded access to world-class technical knowledge, I cannot imagine anyone more qualified to lead our membership community.”

Prior to her promotion, Reynolds managed the member services department at ACI since 2002. Reynolds, a certified association executive since 2009, has served as a track chair of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives, has been a member of the program committees for both CESSE and the Personify annual meetings and is a member of the Michigan Society of Association Executive’s Detroit Membership Community of Practice.
