Street is one of four collections Ceramiche Marca Corona presented to visitors during Cersaie.
Street is a street pavement where concrete is mixed with cement-based mortar, grains and pebbles. Natural wear caused by the passing of time has worn the concrete hence enabling the stones and pebbles to surface out. The ceramic version recalls the aesthetics of this material to recapture its original appearance, in which the pebbles and stones were embedded within the mortar and therefore on the same level. The result is a ceramic collection that brings into indoor spaces a product originally conceived for outdoor use.
