Annette Callari, commercial business manager at Karndean Designflooring and a highly regarded interior design and color expert, will present “Trends in Vinyl Flooring” at The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas, NV, on Wednesday, January 18th from noon to 1 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Luxury Vinyl Tile and plank (LVT) flooring has grown exponentially across all segments of the floor covering industry. Callari’s seminar focuses on every aspect of LVT: how quality LVT is made; current industry sales and future projections; features and benefits of LVT; advantages of LVT over natural hardwood and stone; LVT’s environmental stance; specialty segments of the LVT category (including click and waterproof core); current and future design trends and track color influences (based on forecasts by Color Marketing Group International).

Callari boasts more than 25 years of residential and commercial design experience, and this presentation marks her 12th as a speaker at TISE. She is an allied designer with the American Society of Interior Designers, chair holder for Color Marketing Group International, and has authored numerous articles on color and design trends. She has been the featured keynote speaker in the field of color and design trends for numerous floor covering associations throughout the U.S., including the National Kitchen & Bath Association and the International Facility Manager’s Association, and she is the featured design columnist for Premier Flooring Retailer Magazine. She is the color expert for the World Floor Covering Association and regularly contributes to both wfca.org’s “Designer’s Corner” and “FloorTalk” blog. Callari holds a degree in interior design from Fullerton College and a Professional Writers Certificate from Cal State University, Fullerton.
