Capel Rugs is offering a variety of special promotions during the summer home furnishings markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas to reward retailers for orders placed during the shows. With the purchase of three or more new rugs sized 5’x8’ or larger, retailers, designers, and other buyers will receive a 20% discount. Capel is also offering a 10% discount on orders if advance appointments are made for showroom visits. Customers placing qualifying orders on any rugs in Capel’s line—both new and existing models—also will have an opportunity to pop a balloon for a cash reward of up to $100. The balloon-pop cash giveaway ties in with Capel’s 100th anniversary, which is being celebrated all year with a variety of special events and promotions.

“These special promotions provide an extra incentive for customers to visit and purchase an assortment of our exciting new designs,” said Cameron Capel, vice president of national accounts for Capel Rugs. “We always want to make it fun and inspiring for retailers to shop our showroom.”

This market, Capel is introducing three new rug designs, as well as spotlighting an assortment of rugs that debuted at the April High Point Market. First-time introductions include Laramie, a contemporary-casual collection of hand-stitched leather patchwork rugs; Avanti, a transitional offering with tribal influences; and Peyton, a nature-inspired hand tufted design.

Throughout the summer markets, Capel Rugs will be serving fresh-roasted Starbucks coffee to its showroom visitors along with ice cream bars, a special treat to keep guests cool in honor of the company’s centennial milestone.

At the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, July 12-16, Capel Rugs will be exhibiting in its permanent year-round location at AmericasMart Building 1, space 3-D-1. At the Las Vegas Market, July 30-August 3, Capel Rugs will exhibit in its permanent year-round showroom at World Market Center’s Building A, Space A-133.
