Bonitz, parent company of Bonitz Flooring Group, announced the promotion of two associates into leadership roles in both the Greenville and Charleston, S.C. markets.

Adam Stewart has been promoted to Greenville managing partner. Stewart started his career as an assistant installer with Bonitz nearly two decades ago and has steadily worked his way up, most recently in the position of operations manager. He will assume responsibility of flooring operations in Greenville, S.C., and will succeed Phil Ashley, who continues his role as vice president of flooring on the Bonitz executive team.

"He excelled as a project manager and was salesperson of the year twice," said Ashley. "His commitment to the Greenville team, as well as the entire Bonitz family, uniquely qualifies him to lead this operation."

Alex Council has been promoted to Charleston managing partner. Council brings nearly 13 years of flooring industry experience, including the past three years with Bonitz. He will take over responsibility of flooring operations in the Charleston, S.C. market in succession of Fred Dolloff, who continues his role as vice president of Flooring on the Bonitz executive team.

"Alex has done a tremendous job and deserves congratulations," said Dolloff. "Under his leadership, we look forward to continued success for Charleston and beyond."

Pete Larmore, president and CEO of Bonitz, added, "Bonitz remains committed to developing our associates internally to be the best they can be. Adam and Alex have proven to possess the talent and core values we look for in our managing partners, we are confident in their abilities to provide exceptional service to the Greenville and Charleston markets."
