The global rug design and manufacturing community will gather in Atlanta for The Atlanta International Area Rug Market, Jan. 10-14, 2018 at AmericasMart Atlanta. Featuring the National Oriental Rug Show sponsored by The Oriental Rug Importers Association (ORIA), the show is staged in conjunction with The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market, which will host showrooms Jan. 9-16 and temporary exhibitors Jan. 11-15.

“The showroom energy and inspiration is really what makes the January Home and Rug Market special,” said Kevin Malkiewicz, vice president of Leasing for the Home and Rug collection. “With new product presentations, unmatched hospitality and the ability to connect with the best of the best, AmericasMart’s rug showrooms are vital players in the industry.”

Home product expands to the Building 1 lobby as Nourison opens a second location for its trend-driven collection of high-end area rugs, broadloom, and home accents. Adjacent to the HD Home Temporary collection, the new Nourison space will be open during Markets and year-round to serve the interior design community.

The National Oriental Rug Show moves to a new space in Building 1, Floor 5 for the January 2018 Market. The new location allows buyers to explore the temporary collection as they conveniently source comprehensive product collections from permanent rug and home décor showrooms.

AmericasMart’s celebration of innovation in rug design and production, America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards moves back to the market center for its 2018 reception. Set for Thursday, Jan. 11, the day-long event includes award presentations in the morning followed by an evening reception.
