Grand Rapids, Mich. -- Scott Group Studios has named John Hart and Tim Hill as co-chief executive officers.

Hart has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, joining Scott Group Studio last year as executive vice-president of residential and commercial, and has been instrumental in recent company growth. Hill has been co-owner since 1997, most recently serving as COO. Under Hill's leadership, Scott Group Studio has developed into a global leader in custom carpets and a preferred provider to clients in the private aviation, luxury residential, and contract commercial markets. Additionally, Mike Ruggeri, formally president and CEO of Scott Group Studio since 1990, will move to a new position as chairman of the board.

Scott Group Studio said in a statement it believes the new appointments will help them continue to build momentum in the architecture and design as well as aviation markets, and signifies their commitment to remaining a luxury brand leader and industry resource.
