Lancaster, Pa. -- Armstrong Flooring announced the recipients of the 2017 Thomas Armstrong Awards, honoring distributors who exemplify integrity, resilience of spirit, and deep dedication to their customers. Recipients were honored at a special awards event at the International Surfaces Expo (TISE) in Las Vegas, Nev.

Belknap White Group received the Distributor of the Year award. Their entire team, from leadership to functional support to the sales team continues to align around winning with Armstrong Flooring products. They leverage Armstrong Flooring’s innovative solutions by successfully infusing new products into their marketplace and focusing on Elevate retailers, investing in merchandising along with inventory to support the business at retail and enjoy a strong collaborative effort with the Armstrong Flooring commercial team to bring specifications through to shipments. Belknap White also received awards for Residential Resilient Distributor of the Year and LVT Distributor of the Year.

Florstar Sales was announced as Commercial Distributor of the Year. This distributor is more than a service provider of commercial products. They continue to excel toward business development, aggressive investments in both local inventory and merchandising as well as sales coverage. From their executive leadership team and throughout their organization, this distributor is fully committed to aligning with Armstrong to win in the Commercial marketplace. Florstar was also awarded VCT Distributor of the Year.

Armstrong’s 2017 Wood Distributor of the Year is Derr Flooring. This distributor has consistently grown their Armstrong Flooring and Bruce Hardwood business over the last several years. They continue to make investments in their business to continue this growth story and to meet the demands of a changing marketplace by supporting innovative new products and merchandising.
