Abbey Carpet and Floor Hosts 60th Anniversary Street Festival

Abbey-Street-Festival — For its 60th anniversary, Abbey hosted a street festival at The Cove in the Long Beach Convention Center.

Abbey Carpet and Floor recently held its annual convention, celebrating its 60th anniversary, February 19 to 22 in Long Beach, Calif. On the third night of the the event, Abbey hosted a street festival at The Cove, an outdoor event venue of The Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Abbey dazzled its retail-members with music, live entertainment, food trucks, and games, allowing members to network and relax after a long day of exhibits and meetings.

“Abbey always plans great events for the convention, but this is one of the best they’ve had” said Craig Hoover, vice president and installation manager for Gillespie’s Abbey Carpet and Floor.

Convention events also included a Hot Buys Happy Hour and Mixer on Tuesday night, February 20, and a Money Talks! Exhibit Hall raffle. The week-long event concluded with a tour and dinner cruise aboard the RMS Queen Mary, a retired transatlantic cruise liner.

Abbey Carpet and Floor will host its 2019 convention, February 22 to 26, 2019 in Phoenix, Ariz.
