Tucson, Ariz. -- Arnquist CarpetsPlus of Alexandria, Minn., was named the CarpetsPlus Colortile Retailer of the year for 2017 at the buying group’s annual convention held February 25-28 at the Starr Pass Resort, in Tucson, Ariz. Tom and Adam Arnquist, father and son, accepted the award, to which Tom said: “Early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and advertise!”
Arnquist CarpetsPlus has been in business for 86 years and practices the strategy of “interpreneurship” in all staff members are treated and held accountable like owners. Adam Arnquist said in a presentation at the show that his sales team is knowledgeable of the margin and sales goals every month, and when mistakes are made, the team members understand how project margins are affected.
