Bonitz Flooring Group Receives Three Industry Awards

Columbia, S.C.—Katie Henderson and Stephanie King of Bonitz Flooring Group and the Bonitz Atlanta flooring division have recently received industry-wide recognition.

Katie Henderson, product and design specialist for the Bonitz Raleigh flooring division, won the IIDA DesignWorks Star Award. The Star award is the highest honor bestowed by the IIDA Carolinas Chapter and is awarded to professional members that advance and promote the profession of Interior Design. Henderson has served on the IIDA Carolinas Chapter Board of Directors for 10 years in a variety of roles including vice president of communications, forum director and most recently as social media director.

Stephanie King, product and design specialist for the Bonitz Charlotte flooring division, recently received the Floor Focus 2018 Future Focus Leaders Award. The award recognizes the best of the up-and-coming talent within the dealer/retailer/contractor sector in the flooring business. King plays an integral role in training and supporting the growth of the Bonitz design team as the company adds this role to additional locations.

At the 20th Annual Starnet Design Awards, The Bonitz Atlanta flooring division received the Gold Award in the Hospitality/Public Space Category for the Mannington Commercial Showroom in Atlanta, Ga. Mannington opened the 14,500-square-foot facility to be used as a landing spot for customer visits, a workroom for designers, a place for industry partners to hold meetings as well as a training center.
