Ankara, Turkey -- The U.S. continues to be a rising market for Turkish ceramic materials. Turkey exported $66 million in ceramic tiles and $11 million in sanitaryware to the U.S. in 2017, representing a 12% increase over the previous year, according to the Turkishceramics Association.
Turkey is a top-five exporter of both ceramic tile and sanitaryware, with total 2017 global exports reaching $552 million of ceramic tile and $231 million of ceramic sanitaryware, the association said. The association attributes the increase to flexibility, fast delivery, responsiveness, experienced manpower, product variety, state-of-the-art technology and design capabilities.
