Montreal, Canada -- This week, Carpet One Floor and Home members gather for their annual summer convention at the Montreal Convention Center. This summer’s convention will be transformed into a whole new experience under the convention theme C1 Xperience. C1X will offer an accelerated agenda with impactful speakers, focused networking and an all new C1XPO exhibit hall experience. Throughout C1X, Carpet One Floor and Home members will be focusing on the power of supporting core cooperative programs; the difference a strong commitment to customers can make; and the keys to converting more leads to sales.

Xperience the Power of Core: Members will learn how a renewed focus on core products and programs offered through Carpet One Floor and Home will help keep their businesses fueled for success. The new C1XPO floor layout will have a smaller overall footprint, but offers more space dedicated to showcasing all displays and products.

Xperience the Difference of Commitment: Through expert speakers and Carpet One Floor and Home executives, the convention will help members focus on their commitment to their business and their customers. They will see the power a strong commitment makes and leave with a renewed sense of ownership of the future of their business.

Xperience the Key to Conversion: Carpet One Floor and Home is making significant strides in reaching customers through digital technology. In addition to revealing new website enhancements and digital programs, C1X speakers will help members learn how to convert more leads to sales and convert sales to more profitable sales.

Carpet One Floor and Home will welcome three keynote speakers who will be sharing insight and motivating Carpet One Floor and Home members throughout the two-day event. Jerry Posner, author of Attention Late Bloomers: You’re Right on Time! and Eternal Cosmic Wisdom at Bargain Basement Prices, discusses customer service and how simple and small changes in your attitude and the way you approach daily challenges can make a big impact.

John Venhuizen, president and CEO of Ace Hardware Corporation, will talk about his career and initiatives at one of the country’s largest retail cooperatives.

Col. Nicole Malachowski, a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, will talk about her experiences as a combat veteran, the first woman pilot on the Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, an instructor, a White House Fellow, and an inductee into the Women in Aviation International Pioneer Hall of Fame.
