Los Angeles -- Emser Tile is bolstering its presence in Texas and Florida with two new distribution centers. The company relocated its Houston distribution center to a 600,000-square-foot building and opened a new 215,000-square-foot distribution center in Coral Springs, Fla.

The state-of-the-art facilities expand Emser Tile’s resources to account for increased customer demand to support the region’s homebuilders, retailers, and commercial architects and designers with local service and increased inventory. The Texas and Florida distribution centers employ more than 145 jobs within both communities, recruited through partnerships with local colleges and organizations, as well as relocating current associates in Houston.

Emser, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, operates 10 showrooms and service centers in Texas and six in Florida. The company manages four distribution centers in North America, with other locations in Ontario, California, and Suffolk, Virginia.
