Gemcore Stone Composite Launched In Large Format Tile

Gemcore is targeting a new flooring segment with the launch of the Earth Collection, a series of 12x24 in. click-together “tile” offered in stone, cement, and ceramic looks. With a 70% stone composite core, state of the art imagery, and a Quartz Enhanced Acrylic Coating, Gemcore offers a simple, easy-to-install alternative to the complex and often limited application of classic large format tile.

“Gemcore’s hardwood flooring looks became an overnight success, opening new markets and areas where traditional hardwood floors do not perform well,” said Danny Harrington, vice president of marketing and product development for Galleher. “We expect a similar impact in the tile segment, as Gemcore dramatically reduces installation costs and broadens the range of applications where stone and ceramic looks can be used.”
