Norwalk, Conn. -- Metroflor Corp. acknowledged the outstanding sales performance of its distribution partners in 2018 by bestowing its annual performance awards at a magic-themed celebration during The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas. At a private venue, Metroflor’s sales team wined and dined its distributors, with the awards followed by a performance by noted illusionist Rob Lake, who worked his sleight of hand to the amazement of the group.

“Our ‘Magic in the Air’ theme reflected the sales magic our distributor-partners have achieved in 2018,” said Russ Rogg, president and CEO, Metroflor. “Once again, they have outdone themselves, and we are proud to acknowledge their contribution to the strength of growth in our business.”

Tri-West, Ltd. led the pack with a total of four awards: The Paramount Award, honoring Metroflor’s single largest distributor based on overall sales volume across all products and brands in 2018; the Engage Genesis and Prevail Adhesives & Accessories Distributor of the Year accolades; and the Western Region Sales Champion Award, bestowed to Bryan Dunckel.

Ohio Valley Flooring received two awards: Metroflor LVT Distributor of the Year; and the Visionary Award to Mike Spivey, award to the company that best embraced Metroflor’s brands and products and pioneered local marketing programs resulting in greater revenue and shared growth, not only in 2018 but over time. “Mike has been a steadfast, creative product manager on behalf of Metroflor for the past decade,” said Rogg. “We congratulate the most interesting man in flooring!”

The President’s Award, honoring the distributor demonstrating the most loyal, supportive effort towards our company, products, and sales and marketing initiatives, went to William M. Bird, Inc., and its Preston Keck received the Eastern Region Sales Champion Award.
