Norwalk, Conn. -- Three of the HMTX Family of brands–Metroflor, Teknoflor and Aspecta–garnered Best of NeoCon and Interior Design HiP award designation.
Metroflor’s Metroforms with Attraxion Magnetic Technology was bestowed the Best of NeoCon Award for Product Innovation. Licensed from Magnetic Building Solutions (MBS), the new Attraxion-branded Metroforms LVT enables the rapid installation of flooring by creating a magnetic attachment utilizing MBS’ MagneBuild magnetic underlayment and eliminating the need for locking systems or adhesives.
Teknoflor’s Coordination Collection received a Gold Best of NeoCon Award for Healthcare Flooring. The collection includes three sets of coordinating resilient sheet, planks and tiles designed to enhance the organization of different elements so they work together effectively.
Rochelle Routman, chief sustainability officer, Aspecta/HMTX Industries, received the Interior Design HiP Awards Honoree for Manufacturer: HiP for Greater Good category for her work in sustainability and transparency for the brand, including achieving Declare labels for the entire range of Aspecta products and JUST social justice labels for its two Asian manufacturing partners, the first ever issued to Chinese companies.
