Salem, N.J. -- Mannington Mills associates and Salem area tennis buffs recently played for an important cause—the 5th annual Ranch Hope Wrangler’s Tennis Tournament. Proceeds from the event (which is hosted by Mannington at the fitness center at its Salem, New Jersey, headquarters) benefit Ranch Hope, Inc., a local nonprofit, faith-based organization that helps at-risk children and families throughout the Delaware Valley.

Several Mannington associates, along with community members and other local business people, participated in the round robin tournament, held during one of the region’s most intense heat waves. Despite the heat, players came out in force to have fun and support Ranch Hope.

“Helping at-risk kids and their families is important to both our company and community” said Jim Smith, Mannington Mills fitness center manager. “This event also lets our Salem associates put a fun, fitness spin on one of our company creeds—'work hard, play hard.' On the tennis court, they hustled, hit and never quit because they were playing for such a worthy cause.”
