New York—Nemo Tile + Stone opened a new showroom in Boston as part of the company’s East coast expansion in the heart of Boston’s historic Fort Point neighborhood. Located in the same building, on the same floor as Andrew World/Kane Contracting Group, the new location is designed to cater to the city’s commercial and residential architecture and interior design community.

“We are particularly excited about our new Boston location,” said Matt Karlin, president of Nemo Tile. “This showroom allows us to create a streamlined experience for interior designers and architects in the New England area and tap into a key market.”

The showroom is well-dressed with thoughtfully designed vignettes and displays featuring the latest collections from the brand. Expedient sample and design expertise is offered onsite to best meet the needs of projects across all sectors, from hospitality to residential.

“With the recent expansions, we have been given more visibility and specifications,” Karlin added. “As a result, we’ve been able to hire additional new architectural representatives at both the Philadelphia and Boston locations, furthering our reach across the architecture and design community in both regions.”

In line with the new space, Nemo Tile + Stone has positioned Steven Wallace as director of specifications to lead initiatives at the showroom. In this role, Wallace will focus on managing and perfecting the specification process, while growing relationships with commercial and residential designers throughout New England, and expanding the presence of Nemo Tile + Stone in the region.

“Moving forward, we are working on new tactics internally to increase efficiency across many elements of the business,” said Karlin. “These tactics will target our social platforms and include further development of our website to meet the needs of our customers. Our goal is to streamline the process and increase efficiency at every corner.”
