One of the largest and most respected creative competitions in the world, the MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communications and the outstanding achievements of industry professionals. Approximately 6,000 print and digital entries were submitted this year from all across the globe.

Carpet One Floor & Home earned both platinum and gold level awards in the Print Media category for their quarterly interior design publication, Beautiful Design Made Simple magazine. The retailer was recognized for: Magazine Interior (Platinum); Magazine Cover (Gold); and Consumer Magazine (Gold).

First launched in 2013, Beautiful Design Made Simple was introduced to readers as a digital interior design magazine—created to inspire and inform the ever-evolving design of customers’ homes. With years of success in the digital space and an increasing demand for a print edition, Beautiful Design Made Simple expanded to print beginning with the winter 2018 issue. Now entering its second full year as both a digital and print publication, the magazine is distributed to over 500 Carpet One Floor & Home locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Beyond the magazine, Beautiful Design Made Simple serves as a multi-channel visual communications and content tool that includes a blog and designer video series.
