Chicago -- Designers have two new reasons to specify the DLW Linoleum Landscape Collection from Gerflor: Environmental and Health Product Declarations (EPDs and HPDs) are now available. One of the only flooring options comprised entirely of natural, renewable, and biodegradable materials, the Landscape Collection has become the latest in Gerflor’s product portfolio to carry third-party verified, product-specific EPDs and HPDs.

All of the company’s products–including the DLW Linoleum Landscape Collection–carry product-specific EPDs, are REACH compliant and FloorScore certified, meaning they have been independently third-party certified to comply with strict VOC emissions criteria. They also contribute to earning LEED v4 credit in the Materials & Resources category.

The DLW Linoleum Landscape Collection also meets the Living Building Challenge criteria to carry the Declare label, the transparency platform and product database from The International Living Future Institute. In addition, the Landscape Collection earned the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Certified Biobased Product label. Not only is it inspired by nature, it’s made from it, specifically 100% USDA-certified, biobased materials, including linseed oil, wood flour, limestone, jute, resin and all-natural color pigments.

The DLW Linoleum Landscape Collection is available in 2.5mm calendered sheet flooring in 6'x6" (up to 98'x5" long) rolls. All Gerflor DLW Linoleum products are naturally bacteriostatic, inhibiting the spread of infections, ideal for healthcare and education spaces. The colored design throughout the homogeneous construction is made with natural raw materials, and is protected by a factory-applied PUR polyurethane surface treatment that provides for easy maintenance and reduces the need for refinishing.
