Nominations are being accepted for Floor360’s Design for a Difference-Madison makeover until Saturday, February 29.

The makeover process begins in April, when Floor360 announces the selection of the nonprofit facility and the design team meets for the first time. The design team is composed of volunteer interior designers in the Madison. Wis., area who donate their time to plan, design and collect donations for the makeover. The goal is to create a fresh and re-imagined space that’s beautiful and functional so the focus can be directed to providing services for the community. The work of demo and installation and design at the selected non-profit facility will be completed over the first two weeks in October.

Design for a Difference is a national community-driven movement launched in 2014 by the
International Design Guild, and FLOOR360 brought to Madison in 2015. Over the last five years, the annual makeovers have impacted more than 20,000 people in the Madison community thanks to donations of almost $2 million dollars in time, labor, materials and funds donated by Floor360, interior designers and local businesses.

Everyone is invited to nominate a non-profit facility that needs a makeover in 2020, including individuals who work at the non-profit.
