HMTX Industries today announced that Eric Anderson has been promoted to president of Halstead, the division of HMTX that services the DIY/home center market segment in North America. Eric has served as executive vice president of sales for Halstead since 2013. During that time, he has led the division’s tremendous growth in the rigid core category of LVT at The Home Depot. Harlan Stone will continue as CEO of Halstead, as well as group CEO for its parent company, HMTX Industries LLC.
“Eric is a seasoned and dynamic leader with great knowledge and experience in the Home Center/Home Improvement space. I am pleased to see his career trajectory reach this new milestone with Halstead,” said Harlan Stone. “Here at HMTX, we want leaders with bold visions who are willing to challenge the status quo. Eric Anderson is exactly the kind of leader who can and will accomplish this. We are fortunate to have him on board leading our Halstead division into the next decade!”
Anderson's responsibilities will include leading the entire Halstead team, widely recognized as one of the most efficient and innovative teams within the flooring industry. Based in Smyrna, Ga., they have a significant presence in Calhoun and Rincon, Ga., as well.
“It is with great honor and humility that I accept this new opportunity,” Anderson said. “As part of the HMTX family, Halstead is in a fantastic market position. Our hard working and highly regarded team, our manufacturing partners and their innovative capabilities, our world class supply chain and customer care group and our competitive sales and marketing team are the best in the industry. I look forward to leading Halstead to a whole new dimension of success.”
