Aspecta announced that Gitty Gommers has been promoted to vice president marketing from her present position as director marketing and PR. President of the Aspecta commercial flooring brand, Marcel Kies, said, “During her two years with the brand, Gitty has proven to be an invaluable asset for our group as we develop and continue introducing new products and marketing solutions to the marketplace. Gitty has successfully focused on the creation, coordination and execution of many critical marketing activities, facilitating all Aspecta sales divisions (Aspecta BV, Aspecta North America, Aspecta APAC) and HMTX Industries as a whole.”
Based in Oud Gastel, The Netherlands, Gommers’ recent accomplishments include organizing the HMTX Industries booth at the world’s largest flooring show, Domotex, in Germany; creating an excellent, high-quality Architect folder for the new Aspecta Contours collection; and the complete overhaul of the Elemental by Aspecta webpage (from local to global). As vice president, her increased responsibilities for marketing and PR activities for Aspecta will include:
- Managing the Aspecta brand on a global scale, ensuring brand compliance
- Collaborating with internal (HMTX) marketing and cross-functional teams for integrated, global marketing campaign planning and strategy development
- Expanding content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads for Aspecta while collaborating with other divisional HMTX marketing teams regarding future product lines based on input from customers and the sales team
