Pentz Commerical has been on the move in 2020, launching nine new products in the third quarter. 

“The rollout of our 2020 launches was slightly prolonged due to the pandemic, but have been well received by our dealer base,” said Eric Ruppert, Pentz product manager. “We spread the launches throughout the year to give our sales team time to place product and activate sales, which was harder to do this year given some state regulations with shutdowns and possible limited facetime with the dealer base. We also were dealing with retail spaces and budgetary restraints on future projects; given the uncertainty of the pandemic.”

With more than 20 launches this year, the Pentz Commercial lineup has addressed the changing needs of various end-users including products for social distancing, wayfinding, and value-engineering with its Apex SDP product line-up and LVT glue down products. Amplify, Magnify, Colorburst, Colorpoint, Element, Universe, and Cabled are all offered in both tile and plank, while Vitality and Essence are offered in broadloom and tile.

The launches address market trends.  Amplify, Magnify, and Colorburst collection offer a unique blend of design and color that allow for myriad design options for the end user. 

“We also invested in our Encore SD product category with Universe and Element, two unique patterns featuring multi-hued transitions and 10 colorways inspired by rich, earth-tones,” Ruppert said. “We are also addressing the need for hard surface compliments with our new carpet options.”
Earlier in the year the brand introduced two glue-down LVT products, Avenue and Boulevard, which are gaining two new styles, Parkway and Boulevard.

“We believe the outlook for Main Street in 2021 is strong,” Ruppert said. “Our investment into this segment over the past two years has positioned us well to drive design and innovation with both solution dyed polyester and nylon along with hard surface integration. As businesses start to open back up and end-user budgets get realigned for future projects, we believe our lineup addresses the changing needs of the end-user and we back them with world class service on our products.”
