Patcraft, high-performance commercial flooring, has introduced its newest soft surface collection, States of Water. Inspired by beautiful imagery of water in solid, liquid and vapor forms, this 24” x 24” carpet tile collection features a sweeping gradient and nature-inspired visuals designed to evoke a sense of calm and wellbeing. Within the collection’s three styles, the soothing patterns and refined colorways enhance a calming aesthetic in the built environment.
“Water in its various states creates color in interesting ways,” said Ashley Weaver, product designer for Patcraft. “I was particularly curious about the formations of the glaciers in Greenland, drawn to their curvature and dramatic hues. Studying the water’s motion in these images—the depth and color shifts—we experimented with color and pattern, determined to recreate the movement in a gentle shift across the floor.”
