Armstrong Flooring, designer and manufacturer of innovative flooring solutions, announced the launch of three new luxury flooring collections — Biome, Terra and Coalesce. Each collection is proudly manufactured in the USA, and feature a 2.5 mm structure with a 20 mil wear layer and patented Diamond 10 Technology for category-leading scratch, stain, and scuff performance.

Biome Luxury Flooring
Biome was intentionally designed to capture and translate an organic aesthetic and tactile warmth, strengthening the human connection with nature in the built environment. The collection offers seven distinct, yet compatible wood designs and offers 38 colors in 6 inch x 48 inch and 9 inch x 48 inch planks.

Terra Luxury Flooring
Terra was inspired by the strength, character and raw beauty of natural stone. Two designs — Palazzo and Craton —are available in 18 inch x 36 inch tiles. Palazzo is a terrazzo-inspired look. A third collection, Astana, conveys the strength and character of natural stone in reimagined colorways and is available in an 18 inch x 18 inch format.

Coalesce Luxury Flooring
Each Coalesce design was influenced by the transformation of earthly materials into textiles and mosaics. Five designs mix neutral tones with a variety of textured and geometric visuals. 18 inch x 18 inch and 18 x 36 inch tiles, as well as 6 inch x 36 inch planks.

“We’re excited to add even more options to our 2.5 mm LVT offering,” says Di Anna Borders, vice president, design. “New wood and stone-inspired designs in rich, earthy colors complement textile visuals for three unique collections that can stand alone or work together beautifully. Additionally, these collections feature a new Eased Edge treatment for easy maintenance and a low gloss finish to complement each design and color.”

The newest collections of 2.5 mm luxury flooring are responsibly made as well, garnering various certifications and designed to be recycled at the end of its useful life.

“Proudly manufactured in the USA, these new collections feature a thinner profile, which requires less raw materials and energy to produce, resulting in a product with a 31% lower carbon footprint over our 3.2 mm LVT,” says Amy Costello, sustainability manager. “These collections are FloorScore certified for low emissions and contain 29% recycled content.”

Biome, Terra and Coalesce collections come with a 20-year Commercial Limited Warranty when installed in accordance with the recommended Armstrong Flooring adhesive and instructions. An additional 10 years of overall warranty coverage is available by using the Strong System collection of subfloor preparation products. Each collection features 29% pre-consumer material.
