Day two of The International Surfaces Event (TISE) was in full swing in Las Vegas this week.

A few highlights: 

Women in the Floorcovering Industry Panel
Hosted by Women in the Floorcovering Industry (WIFI), this multi-faceted industry panel conversation focused on the myriad of successful career trajectories available in flooring. Moderated by Tanja Kern, editor of Floor Trends, panelists included Emily Morrow, founder of Emily Morrow Home; Amy Rush, editor, Floor Covering Weekly; and Dana Teague, vice president, design group, Informa.

Best of Awards at TISE 2021
Mohawk won the Best of Awards at TISE 2021 for its WetProtect waterproof innovation, which provides protection for the top of the floor and from water leaking through and damaging the subfloor. It provides a lifetime surface and subfloor waterproof warranty.

Floor Covering Education Foundation
Jim Aaron, executive director, Floor Covering Education Foundation, did some grassroots campaigning to recruit donors and volunteers to help provide scholarships, recruitment and placement for tomorrow's flooring craftsmen. Learn more at fcef.org
