Mapei Leads the Way with Sustainability Certifications

MAPEI Corporation has completed the certification process for SCS Indoor Advantage Gold 2021 and now has a total of over 375 products (in the United States and Canada) that are certified for low volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These certifications include products in the following categories: Architectural coatings, sealants, adhesives, underlayments, Mapeheat products, mats, membranes, accessories and more — including all of Mapei’s product portfolio that can be used in interior applications.

“We aimed to certify products so every project type, no matter how high or low the budget, can include healthy, sustainable products,” said Luigi Di Geso, president and CEO of Mapei North America. “Now, all MAPEI products that can be used on the interior of a building have achieved SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification.”
