Fort Lee, New Jersey-based Couristan has has named Bob Tucci executive vice president of its residential broadloom division. 

As an industry veteran with over 23 years of experience in floor coverings and home furnishings, Tucci will lead and execute Couristan’s exploration and strategic development of new business opportunities within all account segments for the company’s Premiere, Creations, Purity residential broadloom brands.   

George Couri, who serves as chairman of Couristan, noted, “Bob’s leadership skills and unique experiences in sales, merchandising and operations within the residential broadloom industry will provide tremendous value to his role within our company. I’m confident that with Bob’s expertise and creative thinking, we will be able to fully maximize our strategic sales initiatives and growth opportunities, while providing added support to our existing account base.” 

Tucci was formerly employed by Nourison where he served the company as its director of national sales for broadloom and area rugs, Tucci will be reporting to George Couri.
