CCA Global Partners members, staff, partners and friends gathered in person on September 22, 2021, to hit the greenways for the first time since Fall 2019. A beloved annual tradition, the 19th Annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament came to a temporary halt last summer due to the global pandemic.

Held at the historic Barnsley Gardens Resort, the tournament raised $125,000 for the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF.) As always, funds will support the foundation’s ongoing efforts to assist those who are currently, or have been, affiliated with the floor covering industry and are experiencing unanticipated hardships due to illness, disability, or other life-altering circumstances.

Despite ongoing uncertainty and duress amidst the COVID-19 crisis, the FCIF amped up its efforts last fall, raising $137,550 during a virtual fundraising event held in place of last year’s tournament: falling just slightly short of the $140,000 raised in the prior year’s traditional event. The generosity of loyal donors and the sheer perseverance of the team made this year’s event even more poignant.

“We are beyond thankful to be together again this year,” noted Charlie Dilks, chief product officer at CCA Global Partners and chairman of the FCIF Board. “During these unprecedented times, we’re very fortunate to gather, to celebrate, and to lend helping hands.”

Attended by business owners, vendors, manufacturers, distributors, and supporters from all over the nation, the tournament was a day of fellowship, friendship, and the opportunity for friendly competition, aimed at a common goal of goodwill. Their contributions to the FCIF—via participation in the tournament as well as event sponsorships—will assist the foundation at a time when it’s needed the most.
