Karndean Designflooring invites members of hospitality’s boutique and lifestyle design community to visit booth 2127 at the upcoming Boutique Design New York (BDNY) exhibition, November 14 – 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to see how Karndean elevates flooring design.

With a portfolio of more than 300 luxury vinyl products, each unique and original visual has history and global inspiration behind it; including the Iberian-inspired Casablanca, a 2021 Hospitality Design Awards finalist. Part of the 20mil Opus gluedown LVT range, this patterned design combines geometric forms in a non-uniform patchwork arrangement along with curves and crests influenced by medieval Spain.

“Boutique hospitality design very much focuses on curation and creating distinctive experiences," said Karndean Designflooring Vice President of Commercial Sales Milton Goodwin. "Much how boutique design professionals draw inspiration from the surrounding cultural landscape, all Karndean luxury vinyl designs are inspired by real-world materials and locations, allowing designers to create a truly unique and memorable experience."

Karndean Designflooring manufacturers gluedown, loose lay and rigid core formats of luxury vinyl plank and tile, all of which will be on display at the exhibition. With durable wear layers ranging from 12 to 30mil, K-Guard+ provides a hygienic and durable finish that can withstand high levels of foot traffic and protects Karndean products against heavy foot traffic. Multi-directional gluedown and loose lay formats allow for the incorporation of pattern and customization without custom lead times or prices; in addition, these individually replaceable floors allow for the removal and replacement of a plank or tile without disturbing any surrounding pieces. Acoustically friendly loose lay and rigid core formats ensure a guest experience that generates return visits.
