The International Certified Flooring Installation Association (CFI) will hold its 29th annual Convention & Expo on August 2-4, 2022, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, under the theme "Shaping the Future Together."
Professionals from every sector of the flooring industry come to the convention to learn about new products and installation techniques, network, and learn through seminars and hands-on workshops.
According to CFI executive director Robert Varden, the energy and attendance, especially from younger installers, reflect the organization's recruitment efforts and live training this year.
"We've had a phenomenal year," Varden said. "We've formed partnerships and created programs with organizations and institutions to lead the way in reaching the next generation of installers, and we're excited about the momentum we've built. Last year's convention not only drew more young installers but also saw an increase in retailers, distributors, inspectors, and manufacturers. This increased engagement with the entire industry is essential for the future of the industry, as we can only shape it together."
