Schluter Systems Introduces Primer to Product Line

Any tile installer knows that not all substrates are created equally and some varieties can pose adhesion challenges for thinset mortars. These substrates would benefit from enhanced bond strength to ensure a fault-free installation, which is best achieved by using a primer.

Schluter is now launching a brand new ready-to-use universal primer to enhance adhesion of mortars to hard-to-bond surfaces. Schluter-Primer-U is ideal for use in interior applications where increased bond strength is needed. A water-based, solvent-free acrylic formulation, Primer-U is low odor and zero VOC, and is freeze/thaw stable facilitating shipping and storage.
