Galleher, LLC, the largest flooring distributor on the west coast and third largest in the U.S., is expanding its presence in Oregon by opening a full-service branch in Portland. This expansion comes on the heels of its acquisition of West Valley Hardwood, a leading distributor of hardwood flooring and installation supplies throughout Washington and Oregon. Portland will be the second branch office in the Pacific Northwest in addition to the Galleher office in Fife, Washington.
“The Pacific Northwest area is critically important to our customer’s growth and flooring needs, and this expansion into Portland will allow us to better service the flooring and installation needs of all our customers,” said Ted Stocich, Galleher’s regional manager overseeing the Pacific Northwest operation.
The new full-service branch in Portland supporting flooring retailers, flooring contractors and commercial contractors (through Galleher’s commercial flooring division, Galleher Commercial) will be a one-stop shop for all commercial and residential flooring needs. Galleher’s proprietary hardwood brands include Monarch Plank and Reward Flooring, as well as GemCore, a leading brand of a wide range of resilient flooring options. Galleher also distributes key flooring brands like Boen and Indusparquet, as well as installation brands Bona, Bostik, DuraSeal, Basic Coatings, 3M and Schonox.
Galleher’s new 22,000-foot branch will include a sales showroom, warehouse, and will-call area. Galleher is committed to providing all the flooring and installation products and value-added services necessary to help Galleher’s customers keep the promises they make to their customers.
Galleher will host an “open-house” for current and prospective customers in April.
