Spartan Surfaces Names Business Development Managers for Houston, Carolinas

Specialty flooring distributor Spartan Surfaces, a subsidiary of Floor & Decor, announced two new hires. John Robert (JR) Foster will take on a business development role alongside Shawn Campbell. With 15 years’ experience in the architect and design community, Foster has seen the flooring industry both as a project manager and as a commercial rep.

With over 24 years in the flooring industry, Michael Hurtado Spartan, spearheading growth in the Houston market. The company said that Hurtado is its third hire in the state, joining Amber Bartlett of Dallas and Rocky Tramonte of Austin. Building on his vast knowledge in all flooring categories, Hurtado will be leveraging the expertise of team lead and vice president of sales, Michael Blasek.
