During the National Wood Flooring Association Expo Floor Covering Installer's Editorial Director of Installation Jon Namba, alongside eight other regional NWFA instructors, participated in a four-part series Tech Zone Demo—Master Craftsman Skills. The sessions covered high-level skills like wood bending. Namba, executive director, FCI, is a NWFA-certified installer, sand and finisher, inspector and commercial Inspector as well as a regional instructor.
Co-teaching the sessions were Ben Totta, co-owner, Totta Hardwoods; Jason Elquest, owner, Blackhawk Floors, Inc.; Ron Zimmerman, UBC trainer, Carpenters International Training Fund; Todd McDonald, president/owner, Maple Ridge Handscraped; Jared Fitzgerald, contractor, Southern Oaks Flooring; John Alford, president, Alford's Custom Hardwood Floors, Lenny Hall, president/owner, Endurance Floor Co., Inc.; and Steven Seabaugh, contractor/owner, Seabaugh's Hardwood Floors.
