The Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) has launched a new AIA- and IDCEC-accredited course aimed to help architects and designers understand Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). The course, Demystifying EPDs in Sustainable Design, helps design professionals understand the components of Type III EPD; how to read data provided in a Type III EPD; understand the application of EPDs to specific LEED and Green Globes rating criteria; and understand how to use databases and resources to access Type III EPDs.
