HMTX Industries’ nonprofit organization, HMTXCares, will be hosting two fundraisers in Georgia this October. These will be fun and educational events to help raise awareness on addiction and mental health recovery and take place on Thursday, Oct. 6, 3:30 – 6:30 pm at HMTX’s Calhoun, Georgia, campus; and Friday, Oct. 14, noon – 3 pm at the Rincon facility. There is no admission charge or donation required to attend. Both events will include industry speakers on addiction help and recovery, music by rising stars Maddy & Sam Anderson, food, entertainment, and games for the entire family.

HMTXCares, which stands for Community, All-Inclusive, Resilience, Environment, and Shelter, is committed to tearing down misconceptions about the diseases of addiction and mental illness through education and fundraising. The organization supports vetted agencies that provide rehabilitation, education and hope for those suffering from mental illness and substance abuse disorders (SADs) afflicting an alarming and increasing number of Americans each year.

The fundraising/educational forums will help HMTXCares reach its goal of raising $1 million for our partners, which will be matched dollar for dollar by the Stone family.

“With the addiction and fentanyl crisis taking over 100,000 lives each year, HMTXCares needs your help in fighting this awful nightmare," said Paul Eanes, board chairman, HMTXCares. "HMTXCares is saving and improving the lives of families across the US, but we cannot do it alone. If everyone pitches in, we can help families in need, with both education and recovery.”

Sponsorships are available for those who may or may not attend but want to support the cause:

  • Gold - $1,000 donation
  • Silver - $500
  • Bronze - $250
