Kimi's Carpets Plus in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, hosted an International Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) training event for flooring installers and retail sales associates (RSA). The training took place over the course of two days and each participant achieved their R1 carpet certification.

"I want to give a big shoutout to Kimi's Carpets Plus," said Roland Thompson, CFI-certified trainer and owner, Thompson Flooring & Installation. "Not only did they bring CFI in to do a R1 carpet certification, they took a chance of losing some sales and closed the store for two days to have their sales staff go through the technical training."

Four installers and four RSA completed the event: Anthony Holden, Michael Scott, Robert Dudley, James Wright, Scott Zimmerman, Jeremy Conners, Tanya Howard and David Karls. The CFI trainers were Roland Thompson and George Johnson III, owner, G3 Carpet Service, in Centreville, Virginia.
