Reporting from the second stop of the Mohawk Momentum Roadshow in Chicago, Illinois, which took place January 18-19, 2023, retailers shared insights about the product introductions they were most excited to add to their showrooms.

Interior designers Jane Chizek and Anna Buck from Strand's Flooring & Paint, an Edge premier dealer in Marshalltown, Iowa, were looking at new laminate technologies that would impress their customers.

"We loved the look of RevWoood with Signature Technology," said interior designer Anna Buck. "When we laid down a plank next to solid wood, we though the Signature looked better!"

John Prochaska, district manager, Mohawk Industries, presented new Godfrey Hirst carpet collections to Lauren Voit, president, and Dana Park, vice president, Great Western Flooring in Naperville, Illinois.

"It's exciting to see a product with blacks in functional and fun pattern," Voit said. "Godfrey Hirst has done a really nice job this year introducing some dark wools—some tailored, polished looks. I like how they have some of the crossover with the Triexta fiber with some of the Godfrey Hirst collection. That's a smart inclusion."

JP Douglas and Rochelle Douglas from Floors Unique in North Vernon, Indiana, met with Mohawk District Manager Mike Chandler to learn more about RevWood Signature Technology. "Colors are good, visuals are great, and it looks like real wood," said JP Douglas.

Krista and Mike Jones, owners of Select Flooring in Kendallville, Indiana, made note of new Pergo Elements introductions.

"It looks so realistic and so natural, and the color palette that they have is phenomenal," said Krista Jones. "It's on-trend colors. The waterproof is amazing—to have something like that it will really do well in our showrooom."
