Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) announced Don Styka, director of field services, Tarkett, was elected as its new board chair during the December Advisory Board Meeting. Styka, who has been a CFI advisory board member since 2018 succeeds Dave Garden.

Rod Von Busch, vice president of operations, CDI Floors, was elected vice chair and Roland Thompson, owner, Thompson Flooring & Installation, was elected as secretary. Von Busch will also serve as CFI’s representative to the WFCA board of directors.

Outgoing Board Chair, Dave Garden, is now the Executive Director of Education for CFI. He is joined by other board members:

Members of CFI’s Advisory Board serve a three-year term and participate in monthly meetings that help shape association programs, policies and initiatives.
