Floor & Decor announced that Melissa Kersey has been nominated for election to serve on Floor & Decor’s Board of Directors, to be voted on at the company’s Annual Meeting of stockholders on May 10, 2023.  Kersey serves as executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States. Before joining Tractor Supply in June 2020, she served as senior vice president and chief people officer for McDonald’s USA. Kersey also held several executive-level roles with Walmart, and she held earlier roles at Alltel and Target.

Louisville Tile Distributors recently announced that Shannon Eisele has been appointed vice president of client experience and product development. She as built a strong history working at key management positions within the flooring industry. She returns to Louisville Tile after nearly four years as sales manager of Shoch Tile & Carpet, a Cincinnati based dealer in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Prior to that, Eisele was sales and product selection manager at Bella Stone, a stone fabricator also located in Cincinnati, Ohio. For nearly eight years prior to that, she was showroom manager and project designer for the Cincinnati location of Louisville Tile. 

Louisville Tile also announced that Kyle Schlosser has been appointed business development manager/national accounts. Schlosser brings a blue-chip sales resume to Louisville Tile, having worked at major sales positions within the flooring industry. Previously, he was director of sales/corporate sales partnerships at Cambria Quartz Surfaces, key accounts manager/retail at Gerflor USA, and for nine years was district manager/team Leader at Mannington Mills, Inc., where he managed a sales territory of $7.7 million.

Shaw Industries promoted John Crews to vice president residential carpet soft surface. He has held previous roles as director of creative product design—residential soft surface, director of hard surfaces design—COREtec and Anderson Tuftex, and design roles at Shaw Contract.  

Effective February 15, 2023, Spartan expands to Colorado, introducing Noah MacMillan as the latest addition to the Western United States. MacMillan has six years of experience in the commercial flooring industry with a focus on the healthcare and education segments.
