AHF Products
The AHF Products 2023 NeoCon theme, “UNITY,” brings together the company’s three top commercial brands – Armstrong Flooring, Parterre, and AHF Contract – along with high-performance products in innovative designs that are ideal for a range of applications including Healthcare, Retail, Schools, Hospitality and more.
Among the products to be highlighted at NeoCon 2023 are:
Armstrong Flooring VCT, readily available, boasts a legacy of over 150 years with a history of exceptional performance. These products withstand heavy foot and rolling load traffic and the exclusive Fast Start Factory Finish makes initial maintenance quick and easy. VCT offers a low-carbon footprint – its main ingredient is 85% North American limestone locally quarried, further reducing the product’s carbon footprint. In addition, the company offers Armstrong Flooring branded Unify, a Quick Ship LVT. A simplified 2.5-mm LVT assortment, the Unify Collection features warm wood and textile visuals, influenced by minimalistic Scandinavian design.
The Ascendant LVT collection under the Parterre brand features 3mm wood grain designs in each pre-cut pattern for floor installations. Each pattern comes in a selection of Parterre’s most popular wood grains, including rich walnuts, mid-tone woods and a variety of maple and oak options that offer variations in tone and color. There are nine designs offered in herringbone and chevron cuts for a total of 18 different options. Each chevron floor plank is 4.25” x 17” x 3mm, and each herringbone floor plank measures 4” x 24” x 3mm. The herringbone designs feature a 0.55mm micro bevel, which is a small slope on the edge of the plank that provides more definition on the floor. The chevron designs feature a straight edge. The nine wood grain flooring designs for both chevron and herringbone patterns use the glue down installation method, also known as dryback LVT, which involves using a manufacturer’s recommended adhesive to adhere the back of the LVT to its base. Each individual plank is secured to the subfloor, making it among the most durable and secure of all LVT flooring options.
AHF Contract Mixed and Variegated Homogeneous Sheet Flooring offers a selection of 19 popular colors combined with an innovative coating technology, resulting in a floor that is beautiful and built to last. Homogenous vinyl flooring uses a single layer to add vibrancy and color depth. In addition, it delivers incredible durability and stain resistance to withstand heavy commercial use.
Aquafil
Econyl nylon is made from 100% waste, such as old carpets, fabric scraps and fishing nets, rescued around the world. It is infinitely regenerable and offers up to a 90% reduction in global warming potential compared to standard nylon. More than 2,500 brands around the world are designing new products and collections made with Econyl nylon. Aquafil embarked on a journey toward full circularity by collaborating closely with partners to redesign the products of the future. Visit its showroom to learn more.
AVA
Herringbone flooring designs have been around for centuries. Today, AVA is making this elegant look even more efficient to install thanks to new Herringbone and Chevron glue-down and clic planks. Designed and pre-cut specifically for creating these distinctive, elegant patterns, the new Herringbone and Chevron planks mean less material waste, easier installation and precise fit. Visit them at NeoCon booth 7-5082 to see the variety of available wood tones and talk about the new options.
Bentley Mills
Classic Rock LVT Collection
Inspired by the timeless look of terrazzo, this raw yet refined pattern of Classic Rock LVT grounds the company’s luxury vinyl tile offering, which features foundational wood, stone and concrete finishes.
Created to cover every variety of floor, Classic Rock LVT is scaled to present the right amount of texture with hints of color cast into your favorite neutrals. A shimmery layer features on several colorways to reflect a polished finish. Classic Rock, like all Bentley LVT, is delivered with a high-performance, scratch-resistant finish designed for heavy duty traffic. The embossed texture minimizes slips and falls and is easy to maintain—no waxing or buffing required—compared to other hard surfaces.
Classic Rock LVT products feature a durable wear layer of 20 mil., the 18-inch x 36-inch LVT tiles are offered in a standard 5 mm, as well as 2.5 mm 5 mm acoustic construction with minimum yardage requirements. The heavier 5 mm composition requires less adhesive, no transition strips to carpet and greater forgiveness of subfloor imperfections.
Culinary Collection
The Culinary Collection comprises three signature carpet styles. On the Block makes a mark with deep texture, evoking the random nicks and grooves that line well-used butcher block, while From Scratch brings spice to any space with its large-scale, multi-directional pattern. Serve It Up is more accessible in style, pattern and price—a good reminder to savor simplicity.
Sustainably sourced and locally made, products in the Culinary Collection are manufactured with Bentley Premium Nylon.
Long Story Short
Like many classics, Long Story Short features historical references in its formal styling. But the eccentric details in yarn carry surprising twists and turns, revealing a truly unique character.
Long Story Short is purposefully designed to complement any interior and coordinate with many of Bentley’s carpet products, including On the Block, From Scratch and Serve It Up from the just-launched Culinary Collection.
Constructed of Bentley Premium Nylon and available with any of Bentley’s PVC-free backing systems.
Like all Bentley carpet products, it is PVC-free, Cradle to Cradle Certified, NSF 140 certified, CRI Green Label Plus certified and produced in a carbon neutral, LEED-EB:OM Gold-certified manufacturing facility.
Along with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs), these products also carry Declare labels and have achieved Red List Approved status through the Living Building Challenge.
Bjelin
Bjelin’s latest hardened wood range, featuring the new and award-winning matt finish, has been released in a Select grading. Earlier this year, the company launched new products with updated and improved colors, formats and technologies. The clean and harmonious Select grading in the hardened oak range is the latest launch in the US.
A grading, which refers to the variation in the floor’s appearance, is down to personal taste and a customer’s aesthetic preferences. The Select grading is a breathtaking option for those seeking a harmonious and soothing atmosphere. It features some color variations and fewer whole knots. For a modern and contemporary home, this minimalist option is ideal, evoking a sense of peacefulness, refinement and elegance.
The colors available in the Select grading are Powder White, Misty White, Earth Grey, Natural, Honey and the new Terra Brown shade. The deep brown is a classic and sophisticated complement to the existing light whites, greys and natural wood colors.
Bjelin’s hardened wood flooring range is empowered by the ground-breaking technologies, Woodura and 5G Dry, developed by sister company Välinge Innovation. Woodura is a surface technology that ensures the floors are three times stronger than engineered wood floors while only a tenth of wood is needed, making this a more sustainable option.
The leakproof 5G Dry floor locking system ensures a fast, easy, and durable installation without glue or nails. A watertight joint prevents water from seeping through the panels and damaging the subfloor, making these floors truly long-lasting.
Configura
NeoCon 2023 attendees can visit Configura on the 7th floor at booth 7-5102 for live demonstrations of its latest additions to the Configura platform: the CET Flooring Library, Twinmotion and Spec.
With CET’s powerful and intelligent functionality, the Flooring Library allows users to integrate flooring products, materials and patterns into photo-realistic visuals. The tile randomizer helps clarify the installation plans by precisely showing what product and patterns go where. This solution easily integrates into existing IT structures and can quickly export a bill of materials for exact ordering and installation needs. Fewer flooring samples are required, and the carbon footprint is reduced due to minimal ordering errors.
The Twinmotion Extension is the latest iteration of the continually evolving CET rendering experience as complex design planning becomes more immersive, engaging and realistic. Twinmotion not only benefits the designers, who are able to better express their visions in truly engaging and realistic ways, but also the decision makers who will ultimately purchase the space, as well as the end users. Using this solution, designers and stakeholders can better understand the mood and impact a designed space will invoke.
These products enhance and optimize the workflow of designers and professionals. CET users can now design and render in CET, then export the design into Spec for detailed specification. Spec is a powerful specification tool that enables users to import files from CET Commercial Interiors, AutoCAD and other industry design programs. Users can then add options like fabrics, COMs, finishes and discounts while designing quotes and proposals.
Kuberit
Kuberit's Design-Clip Profile is the company's most versatile profile yet, using a two-part system with a universal base paired with one of three top-profile options addressing reducer, edge trim, and transition functions. The unique profile construction allows for floor covering expansion and contraction. There are no exposed hardware elements and Küberit Design-Clip Profiles install with ease. The system's base is put in place, the coverings installed on either side, and the appropriate top portion of the profile tapped into position using a robust connection method. Coverings of varied sizes can be accommodated with the same Küberit Design-Clip Profile system.
